We do not offer refunds.
What is your return policy?
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. We do not offer refunds, however if for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly issue an exchange for another piece of equal or greater value, upon presentation of the invoice and guarantee, within 14 days of delivery. In the latter case the customer has to pay the difference of the cost of the piece.
The item must be returned in unused condition in its original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a courier with a tracking number to return items, as we are not liable for any items lost in transit.
Please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and details about the product you would like to return, before returning any pieces.
We reserve the right not to accept returns of items without prior notice and/or if the items do not correspond to the same conditions in which the buyer purchased them.
We do not accept returns on special orders, custom orders, or made-to-order pieces.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel any order as long as it has not yet shipped. Send us an email to email@example.com and cancellation will be free of charge. We will refund your order in full, including shipping costs.
If cancellation is no longer possible, the order will be delivered and the customer may exchange but not return it.
SHIPPING & PROCESSING
Do you ship internacional?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
The order is shipped within 3-5 working days, unless the customer purchases something on pre-order - thus the order will only be shipped after the expected replacement date. If in the same order there are available items and pre-order items, the shipment will only be made when the order is fully complete. If you do not want to wait, you can request multiple shipments to receive the items as soon as possible. You can request this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number and details by e-mail. During the Christmas season, delivery time may take longer than usual. The average delivery times are as follows (please take into account the additional time for customs inspection. If you purchased an item in pre-order this timeframes are only counted after shipping):
Portugal (via MRW or CTT): 2-3 working days
Europe (via CTT or DHL): up to 5 working days
Worldwide (via DHL): 10-25 working days
If the client misses the delivery attempts and the order is returned to us, the order will only be shipped again after confirmation of payment of the shipping costs.
Since all pieces are handmade using traditional processes in our Lisbon studio, we reserve the right, in case of loss of stock, to change the estimated delivery time. In that case, we will immediately inform you by e-mail regarding a new deadline.
CERTIFICATION & WARRANTY
All our pieces are hallmarked for authenticity and certified by the INCM. All CREMILDE BISPO pieces are made in Portugal, in sterling Silver 92/ Gold plated Sterling Silver 925 / 18K Gold/ 19.2K Gold.
CREMILDE BISPO pieces are certified by INCM - Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, S.AJewellery that remains in your memory.. INCM provide this assurance by checking the legal touch (precious metal per thousand contained in an alloy) and the application of contrast with the responsibility mark, manufacturer or equivalent.

According to Portuguese Law, all articles have a 3-year warranty, from the date the purchase invoice is issued. However, CREMILDE BISPO excludes any liability for damage to articles derived from lack of precaution and for inappropriate and neglected use.
All pieces are made through manual and traditional processes and are handcrafted in the our Lisbon studio. Therefore, slight differences may exist between the finished piece you will receive and the piece illustrated in the photo of the online store. We thank you for your understanding, after all this is what makes your piece unique.

PACKAGING & GIFTING
What type of packaging will I receive my order in?
Your piece will be placed in a Cremilde Bispo ECO Jewellery box, paired with a Fairtrade Cotton Pouche. Our jewellery box, tissue paper, postcard and stickers are made of FSC®-certified cardboard/ paper and water-based glue/inks. Our packaging is produced in Denmark and Portugal.
The FSC® mark guarantees that all materials come from an FSC® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection of the animal- and plant life, and all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage.
We endeavour to reduce our plastic use, so your order is sent in a carton box with no plastic fillings.
May I enclose a personal message with my gift?
Yes. You may leave a personal message in our notes section at checkout and we will include this in the order on our Thank you Postcard.

Can I use more than one discount code?
Only one discount code can be used per order and cannot be combined with other promotions.
The prices on our site are shown in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate at the time of purchase (VAT of 23%). Price and product specifications contained on this site are subject to change without notice.
Cremilde Bispo reserves the right at any time to change the price of items or services and conditions of its online store or to carry out promotional campaigns.
How do I take care of my jewellery?
Your jewellery can lose its shine when exposed to air over a long period of time. The loss of shine or tarnish is a natural process, not a defect, which can be recovered through various home methods or through a deeper cleaning in our Atelier (by appointment only). We strongly recommend that you follow the recommendations that below, to ensure your jewellery remains in its original glory for a long time.
Remove your jewellery:
- before going to sleep
- before bathing
- before swimming
- before going to the beach
- before participating in any physical activity
- before performing your daily/night beauty routine
- before using cleaning products or harsh chemicals such as bleach, solvents, thinners or paints.
Exposure to certain chemicals or environments can compromise your jewellery. This includes (but is not limited to): perspiration (sweating), perfumes/colognes, cleaning products, chlorine, salt water, or silver polishing, etc.
Cleaning your jewellery
Mix a little soap with warm water, soak the pieces and leave for 10 minutes. Then rinse under running water and scrub them with a soft toothbrush. Toothbrushes are excellent for cleaning jewellery with hard-to-reach corners. If any dirt persists, carry out the same process in clean water. Always dry the pieces thoroughly and store them in their original box. Important: Gold-plated jewellery requires greater care. Excessive scrubbing can cause a loss of coating. Please handle them with care in order to avoid any damage.
Preserving your jewellery
- Ideally, store your jewellery either in its original box/cotton bag, or individual plastic bags, in order to avoid friction with other pieces.
- Absolutely avoid using rubber containers as they can cause accelerated staining and may cause the jewellery to darken.
- Keep your jewellery away from any exposure to direct sunlight or hot places
- Under no circumstances should you store your jewellery in a bathroom or any damp place.
Please note that although our Gold plating is of exceptional quality (Vermeil - 3 micron layer thickness of Gold), we cannot guarantee that the gold plating on our items will last forever. Gold plated items are, by their nature, more fragile and prone to lose their colour over time. How quickly the colour fades will depend on a number of factors, such as whether chemicals are used on the skin, how much the wearer sweats, or the wearer's skin pH level. That’s precisely why it is especially important to ensure the proper care of your gold-plated jewellery.
